Pigeon Point Lighthouse is one of the few extant lighthouses on the Californa Central Coast. The lighthouse itself is not available to the public, but can be seen on the grounds of the State Park. There is also a Hostel for those who plan to stay overnight and catch glimpses of early morning sea birds. Pigeon Guillemots nest during the summer, and Puffins are a common Winter visitor. In Spring and Fall, you'll be treated to vast flocks of Loons, Pelicans, Cormorants, and Geese migrating past the lighthouse.
